Creative Photography Showcase #5: A Highway Fashion Show by Carl Elkins

As you probably already know, Goodyear is the world's largest tyre company with a rich history of innovation. But you didn't come here for tyre advice. Nor did I. So let's take a look at these amazing prints by Carl Elkins, an art director/designer/illustrator from Munich, Germany, who was approached by Goodyear for a series of prints that would illustrate key themes in the Dunlop product line: strength, robustness and armor.

Quite original, right? Although Carl is not a photographer, he worked closely with Mierswa-Kluska, a talented duo of product photographers from Germany who proved their abilities of combining fashion and product photography in a very unique and incredibly stylish manner. By the way, if you're wondering about the gear they used for these shots, it was a Hasselblad H3DII-39, which kind of explaines the greatness of it all.

Anyway, hats off to this talented crew!
